Bandera's Arnaldo Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Senin in the 21st minute of play. Romulo Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lidon having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Rene Cordera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A BoQuiTa JrS the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Bandera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Cordera to maneuver through the defense.
