Cosme Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A BoQuiTa JrS's zone, Angelo Beremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Erramun came out of the goal and Angelo Beremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cosme Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Ferrandos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Delmar Furman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alejandro Balesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Alejandro Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Menucos's goalkeeper Delmar Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Ferrando. A collision led to Menucos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bruno Tonete hit a great ball. When Angelo Beremundo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Menucos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Beremundo couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Artemio Timo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Erramun was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Ruperto Ferrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Senin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Angelo Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Furman made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ruperto Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. Ruperto Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Furman having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Menucos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Timo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Romulo Dino fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A BoQuiTa JrS's protests and gave Romulo Dino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Maximiliano Eutor fired a really elegant long shot, but Cosme Erramun threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Miguel Esiquio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Artemio Timo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Timo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Menucos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bruno Tonete hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alejandro Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A BoQuiTa JrS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A BoQuiTa JrS's Ruperto Ferrando got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menucos's Delmar Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Ferrando in the 74th minute of play. Ruperto Ferrando scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Gaspard. With a little luck, C.A BoQuiTa JrS's Cosme Erramun got control of the ball when Angelo Beremundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Angelo Beremundo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cosme Erramun to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, C.A BoQuiTa JrS's Miguel Esiquio got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cayetano Normando hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
