Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Remigio Mergildo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Santo Barto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Mergildo in the 6th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Eleuterio Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mercedes Unido and the Romanticos del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Aguilera hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Remigio Mergildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Barto's late challenge caught a Villa Mercedes Unido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Barto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Romanticos del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Barto to maneuver through the defense. Angel Quintana charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Quintana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Romanticos del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Angel Quintana. Evaristo Victoro, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Remigio Mergildo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Uriel Matei. During the 18th minute of the match Angel Quintana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Quintana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th minute, Angel Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Victoro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Baldomero Sidoro, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Romanticos del Tiki Tiki's Eulalio Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Buinton in the 24th minute of play. Santo Barto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Matei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa Mercedes Unido's Ignacio Eder got a free kick in the 29th minute. Uriel Matei made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Santo Barto sent off a good shot on target. Gogo Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Santo Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanticos del Tiki Tiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Barto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Matei having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Buinton to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Romanticos del Tiki Tiki's Eulalio Mano got control of the ball when Gogo Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Barto in the 58th minute of the match. If Christian Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Romanticos del Tiki Tiki's zone, Gogo Gaitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Mano came out of the goal and Gogo Gaitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Romanticos del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Mergildo. Gogo Gaitano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Eulalio Mano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gogo Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eulalio Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Mergildo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Elia in the 87th minute of play forced Villa Mercedes Unido's goalkeeper Uriel Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Villa Mercedes Unido's Elvio Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Romanticos del Tiki Tiki had played much better football throughout.
