Barreto's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folmar Knipping breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Goren scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folmar Knipping, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Barreto's Dante Jerico got control of the ball when Sabino Velasques tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Shepherd in the 90th minute of play forced Jotacé FC's goalkeeper Folmar Knipping to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Barreto's Jose Shepherd made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folmar Knipping was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, Barreto could leave the field as winners, despite Jotacé FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
