After 22 played minutes Jose Shepherd rounded Rancagua FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Esteban Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Shepherd in the 31st minute of play forced Rancagua FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 61stth minute of the game Gilberto Guifre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rancagua FC's Aureliano Esquipula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Barreto's Jose Shepherd made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Esquipula was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Esquipula having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Shepherd in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Esquipula saved Rancagua FC from getting behind. When Barreto's Benito Goren in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancagua FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 played minutes Rancagua FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Clemencin. If Jose Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Elvio Pietro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Esquipula. Rancagua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Pietro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 85 played minutes Barreto got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Hodei. Dante Jerico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Louis in the 89th minute. Elvio Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Benito Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Esquipula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Barreto's Benito Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliano Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Barreto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
