The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Koplin got free with Julio Mattin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Mattin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Swen Da Cruz in the 13th minute. Holy Light's Raimundo Berto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Swen Da Cruz in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Mattin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Manzi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Holy Light:s goal. Swen Da Cruz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Holy Light's Baltasar Iruinea got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Holy Light getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sven Koplin hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Arnulfo Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Ederono made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tadeo Danel. In the 33rd match minute, Holy Light was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Berto to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Regis's late challenge caught a Manzi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Regis helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Regis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Swen Da Cruz sped through Manzi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Mattin.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Berto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Holy Light was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Koplin to maneuver through the defense. When Felipe Pudes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Holy Light fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Pudes couldn't finish the play. Julio Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Swen Da Cruz in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Swen Da Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holy Light's Natalio Mosen was substituted for Ladislao Llorienzo. Holy Light made a substitution. Desiderio Artaldo replaced Swen Da Cruz. Julio Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Artaldo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the game, Desiderio Artaldo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Cosme Ostots charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Ostots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Manzi FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Ostots. After some careless play in the Manzi FC defense, Raimundo Berto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Mattin. The Manzi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Mattin should have stopped the shot. Tomas Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sven Koplin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Mattin. Manzi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manzi FC's Julio Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Pudes in the 78th minute of play. Adolfo Jon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Manzi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Jon came free, but Julio Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Adolfo Jon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manzi FC's Julio Mattin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Baltasar Iruinea with Marek Ogrodowicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 89 played minutes Manzi FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Amor. Julio Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Jon in the 91st minute of play. Julio Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Holy Light got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Jon. Holy Light's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
