The supporters of Manzi FC booed when HACHA Y TIZA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Manzi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Brion came free, but Julio Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnulfo Mikelar came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Manzi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Mikelar couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Mikelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, HACHA Y TIZA FC's goalkeeper Isidro Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Mikelar. Desiderio Rudolfo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Mattin. Manzi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, HACHA Y TIZA FC's Domingos Aresti made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Mattin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half HACHA Y TIZA FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Aresti to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arnulfo Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, HACHA Y TIZA FC's Felix Veronica got a free kick in the 80th minute. Arnulfo Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Isidro Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of HACHA Y TIZA FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Manzi FC side.
