In the 5th match minute, Bustamente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Feo to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, one of Bustamente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Benigno Gonza, was totally fooled by TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s Angel Rios, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Benigno Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Gonza in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Errando in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Bustamente's goalkeeper Benigno Gonza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Cordeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Cordeiro got free with Benigno Gonza in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Bustamente's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Gonza came free, but Benigno Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Remigio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of TEMPERLEY A.C.T. booed when Bustamente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Silvera didn't get a good kick on the ball. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s Teodoro Gonza got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Gonza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Gonza to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Gonza went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ivan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ivan Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Angel Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Errando fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Gonza in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Gonza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Bustamente's Celso Raymond got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Teodoro Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Cordeiro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bustamente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
