The Vinicio Chinto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Canor to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Emiliano Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maimará AFC the free kick. Vinicio Chinto came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s Filomeno Santana. But to his dismay, Filomeno Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. TEMPERLEY A.C.T. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
