Tobias Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Ermengol took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Stephen. Tobias Stephen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Deportivo Villa Castells booed when tano juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Santiago Castel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Stephen. tano juniors's Saturnino Ermengol got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Villa Castells's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Giraldo came free, but Tobias Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Ermengol in the 39th minute of play forced Deportivo Villa Castells's goalkeeper Tobias Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saturnino Ermengol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Saturnino Ermengol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Abeijon to make the kick off. When Saturnino Ermengol in the 56th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tobias Stephen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Roberto Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Arano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Abeijon went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Roberto Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Arano having to interfere. With a little luck, Deportivo Villa Castells's Tobias Stephen got control of the ball when Humberto Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Villa Castells's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Humberto Giraldo scored to the left of an out of position Tobias Stephen, making the score, 1-4. Guido Vellito charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Vellito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guido Vellito hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Abeijon in the 84th minute of play. Pascual Steven's late challenge caught a Deportivo Villa Castells's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Steven helped the player get up and apologised. Pascual Steven hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Villa Castells's Atilano Karmel got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tobias Stephen came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by tano juniors's Lisandro Vela. But to his dismay, Lisandro Vela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After having played for 96 minutes, Humberto Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tano juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The tano juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
