The player immediately received a yellow card. Santo Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Amador Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia Mza's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Cesario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to N. Chicago getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Santo Niguel hit a great ball. Feliciano Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Lisandro Lartaun from a close distance when the talented Feliciano Belo managed to make a qualified save. Gimnasia Mza's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the match, Gimnasia Mza's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Brion came free, but Feliciano Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Alberto Aires with Lisandro Lartaun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 25 played minutes Gimnasia Mza got a freekick which was hit by Amador Cesario. Feliciano Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Roberto Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Higinio Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Belo. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Cesario to make the kick off. Fernan Baraquiel in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonzalo Neto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gonzalo Neto made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Fernan Baraquiel sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in N. Chicago's zone, Amador Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Neto came out of the goal and Amador Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Fernan Baraquiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Higinio Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Feliciano Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Amador Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Salomon in the 72nd minute of play forced Gimnasia Mza's goalkeeper Feliciano Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Ritchie charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Ritchie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Gimnasia Mza got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ritchie. Fernan Baraquiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Neto made a huge save. Venancio Fagondo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Fagondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Venancio Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Filiberto Erroman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Belo skillfully saved the ball. Gonzalo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sesuldo in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Gimnasia Mza's Amador Cesario made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amador Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernan Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Salomon scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Belo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gimnasia Mza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
