A collision led to Atletico Rafaela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Justino Jurdan hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored ◀ Red Rooster ▶'s protests and gave Casimiro Cordarryl a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ◀ Red Rooster ▶! Santiago Jesco had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Siro Urti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 65 played minutes ◀ Red Rooster ▶ got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Harkaitz. The supporters of ◀ Red Rooster ▶ booed when Atletico Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Blasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosendo Sancho in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
