Jacinto Chano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jacinto Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Librado in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Los Fundamentalistas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rigoberto Curcio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aaron Gartzen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Chano was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Jacinto Chano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Benicio Ixona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Fundamentalistas's Jacinto Chano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Los Fundamentalistas booed when Gama AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Chano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Gartzen went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Aaron Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jacinto Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Curcio made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gama AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Eguen came free, but Inocencio Deunoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Fundamentalistas fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Los Fundamentalistas's Gabriel Eguen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Gama AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulises Acosta hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gama AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Fundamentalistas the free kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gama AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
