Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Serapio to make the kick off. Pikas F.C.'s Godfredo Serapio got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Rivero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jacinto Chano made a huge save. Guaberto Suarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Chano came out and tried to block the shot, but Guaberto Suarez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. When Gabriel Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Los Fundamentalistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Eguen couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Eguen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Semeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 81st minute Rigoberto Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Cordeara during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Pikas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Albino Cordeara. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rigoberto Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Fundamentalistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Curcio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Fundamentalistas's Jacinto Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Los Fundamentalistas from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Rigoberto Curcio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Fundamentalistas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Los Fundamentalistas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pikas F.C. for a fine match.
