Gavino Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jeppe Jørgensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gavino Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Araoz couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Dante Loi rounded Encrucijada's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Paulo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Loi in the 26th minute of play. Benito Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ulises Rufo's late challenge caught a Super Bondiola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Ulises Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Encrucijada's zone, Dante Loi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Petrigai came out of the goal and Dante Loi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gavino Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encrucijada's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Araoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeppe Jørgensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeppe Jørgensen having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Loi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Super Bondiola's Jeppe Jørgensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Rufo in the 65th minute of play. Gavino Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Petrigai having to interfere. If Gavino Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gavino Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Petrigai having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Loi in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Petrigai saved Encrucijada from getting behind. After 86 played minutes Super Bondiola got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Qwinton. If Ulises Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada's Sixto Gomez got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Super Bondiola's Jeppe Jørgensen got control of the ball when Gavino Araoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gavino Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Encrucijada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Super Bondiola.
