Chorroarín's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Uzuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well placed Ulises Rufo short distance shot in the 7th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Raul Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulo Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Uzuri in the 19th minute of play. Raul Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Rufo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo Venceslao came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulises Rufo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. Raul Osoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Petrigai having to make a save. The supporters of Encrucijada booed when Chorroarín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Venceslao having to interfere. Leo Venceslao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Rufo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Nicanor Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Filiberto Uzuri made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Petrigai had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Filiberto Uzuri from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Encrucijada's goalkeeper Paulo Petrigai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. If Ulises Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Filiberto Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Nicasio Remigio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Petrigai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gavino Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Araoz couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Encrucijada fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chorroarín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
