When Alfred Charlos fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lions Xion's protests and gave Alfred Charlos a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Lions Xion got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Charlos. 3 minutes into the game, Horacio Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. 任铮昆 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th match minute, Argentinos del Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Matthew to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Orozco in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Napier saved Argentinos del Norte from getting behind. After 10 played minutes Lions Xion got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Charlos. Jose Nafarroa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Lions Xion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Campodónico to maneuver through the defense. Lions Xion's Juan Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Orozco in the 19th minute of play. When Juan Orozco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erasmo Napier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Esteban Bermund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. 任铮昆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Argentinos del Norte's Esteban Bermund in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lions Xion's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Eguen got free with 任铮昆 in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos del Norte's zone, Juan Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Napier came out of the goal and Juan Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sun Hai Zhou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Napier was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Juan Orozco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Orozco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 55th minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lions Xion made a substitution. Leopoldo Chan replaced Juan Orozco. Roberto Trotta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 59th minute when Esteban Bermund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Eguen in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 任铮昆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lions Xion's 任铮昆 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Cefero in the 64th minute of play. 任铮昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Eguen in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lions Xion's Alfred Charlos got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Jose Nafarroa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 任铮昆 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Leopoldo Chan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions Xion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 80th match minute, Argentinos del Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Txeru to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Chan in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Lions Xion's Leopoldo Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Napier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Chan notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Argentinos del Norte's Erasmo Napier. Erasmo Napier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lions Xion's Alfred Charlos got a free kick in the 96th minute.
