Riquelmista's Ignacio Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Riquelmista from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Riquelmista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argentinos del Norte's Joel Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Solustiano made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Argentinos del Norte got a freekick which was hit by Joel Solustiano. Argentinos del Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes of play, Argentinos del Norte's Joel Solustiano made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Norte's Joel Solustiano got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riquelmista walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
