Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blas Henrico kicked off to start the match. When Higinio Lapurdi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Calchín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Lapurdi couldn't finish the play. Lino Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Esteve Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Blas Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Bentham was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Velez Sport Club's goalkeeper Esteve Innocenzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Tximitx. After a rather tough play, Velez Sport Club's Santiago Munio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Feliciano Niguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Calchín FC's Anastasio Tximitx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Esteve Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Lapurdi in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Anastasio Tximitx from a close distance when the talented Esteve Innocenzio managed to make a qualified save. Velez Sport Club's players were relieved. Higinio Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Innocenzio having to interfere. When Ty Cornish fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calchín FC's protests and gave Ty Cornish a yellow card for diving instead. Ty Cornish hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hilario Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Gilbert Barniszke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Innocenzio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esteve Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Tximitx in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Velez Sport Club's Cristo Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Tximitx in the 63rd minute of play forced Velez Sport Club's goalkeeper Esteve Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Hilario Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velez Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calchín FC the free kick. The supporters of Calchín FC booed when Velez Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velez Sport Club's Esteve Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Lapurdi in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Munio during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Calchín FC's Lino Roldan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Esteve Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Roldan in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Bogdan Zuraw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Feliciano Niguel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vince Bentham skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sport Club's zone, Augusto Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Innocenzio came out of the goal and Augusto Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anastasio Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Calchín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Tximitx couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Calchín FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Roldanillo. Velez Sport Club's Feliciano Niguel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vince Bentham but with some difficulty. A collision led to Velez Sport Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hilario Sotero hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Calchín FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
