Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Abeitia got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Los Delfines's Daniel Abeitia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vince Bentham was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Calchín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Froylan came free, but Vince Bentham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calchín FC's goalkeeper Vince Bentham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Domingos Froylan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vince Bentham. Calchín FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Froylan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Elias Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Bentham having to interfere. Daniel Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vince Bentham didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Abeitia went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Domingos Froylan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vince Bentham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 30th match minute, Calchín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Tximitx to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Froylan in the 33rd minute of play forced Calchín FC's goalkeeper Vince Bentham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Domingos Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Delfines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Domingos Froylan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vince Bentham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Daniel Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Bentham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Froylan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vince Bentham having to make a save. After 40 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Peruanton. Vince Bentham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Abeitia in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Domingos Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Bentham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Higinio Lapurdi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Domingos Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Delfines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Calchín FC's Vince Bentham got control of the ball when Domingos Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Bentham having to interfere. Ezequiel Artizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Calchín FC's Vilibald Grossmann got a free kick in the 61st minute. Los Delfines's Constantino Remicio was substituted for Clemente Gonzalez. In the 62nd match minute, Calchín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilibald Grossmann to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vince Bentham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo-César Wanchope kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vince Bentham. That made the score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. In the 68th minute Fulgencio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Bentham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Calchín FC's goalie and right to Gavino Gutierrez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Calchín FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 72nd minute, Paulo-César Wanchope made a precise shot to the right of Vince Bentham. Calchín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. With his leg Vince Bentham managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Los Delfines's Paulo-César Wanchope fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gualterio Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Los Delfines's Paulo-César Wanchope ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vince Bentham. Vince Bentham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Ezequiel Artizar got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vince Bentham was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Paulo-César Wanchope capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo-César Wanchope really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. A collision led to Calchín FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lino Roldan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Calchín FC's Vince Bentham got control of the ball when Paulo-César Wanchope tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calchín FC's goalkeeper Vince Bentham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Paulo-César Wanchope recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vince Bentham. Paulo-César Wanchope showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Los Delfines left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Calchín FC.
