Iwan Grocholski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Gonzalez in the 9th minute of play forced La Academia's goalkeeper Iwan Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Walter White came free, but Gualterio Burutzagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Francisco Alberto Zañartu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Burutzagi was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Academia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Delfines.
