Club Atletico Agripa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Fidel Bidari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd match minute, Lipeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fidel Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atletico Agripa booed when Lipeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Eustaquio Goito got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Goito made the kick off in the second half. When Fidel Bidari came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Club Atletico Agripa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Bidari couldn't finish the play. Higinio Ieltxu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fidel Bidari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Figueroa was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Zeledon Figueroa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Euloxu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fidel Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Claude in the 72nd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Prospero Gaizko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Agripa and the Lipeo players grew even worse after the yellow card.
