The supporters of Siganme si Pueden booed when Canallas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ramond in the 22nd minute of play. Augusto Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Orixe in the 28th minute of play forced Siganme si Pueden's goalkeeper Teodoro Raitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Maia during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Canallas's Lino Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Marko in the 45th minute of play. Teodoro Orixe took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Raitin. Teodoro Raitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

During the 51st minute of the match Augusto Maia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Augusto Maia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 52 played minutes Siganme si Pueden got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Maia. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Siganme si Pueden's goalkeeper Teodoro Raitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Teodoro Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Nicasio Marko took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lino Ascencio to make any attempt to save it. Canallas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Veremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Raitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Orixe in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Raitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Alfredo Veremundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Raitin. Siganme si Pueden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Veremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Teodoro Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Orixe in the 92nd minute of play. Nicasio Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Canallas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
