Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Veremundo got the match started through his kick off. When Clodoveo Millrick fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canallas's protests and gave Clodoveo Millrick a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Canallas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Millrick to maneuver through the defense. Lino Ascencio came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by The Arquitect's Albano Tibalt. But to his dismay, Albano Tibalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Marco Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Albano Tibalt made a precise shot to the right of Lino Ascencio. Canallas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Canallas's zone, Albano Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Ascencio came out of the goal and Albano Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Sendoa charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Sendoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Canallas got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Luke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Tibalt in the 28th minute of play forced Canallas's goalkeeper Lino Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Ascencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Tibalt went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alfredo Veremundo in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edelmiro Basajaun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albano Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The long shot by Aristides Luke in the 34th minute really tested Edelmiro Basajaun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 37th minute Kris Fessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Arquitect booed when Canallas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Albano Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Ascencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Delmiro Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Nel to make the kick off. Albano Tibalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Ascencio having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Albano Tibalt took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Lino Ascencio to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Albano Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Arquitect's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 played minutes Canallas got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Millrick. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Ivan Nel sped through Canallas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Ascencio. Canallas's Lino Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Fessa in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, The Arquitect's Ivan Nel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Clodoveo Millrick hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Albano Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canallas's Lino Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Tibalt in the 80th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play Canallas's Clodoveo Millrick was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 81 played minutes Canallas got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Millrick. 87 minutes into the game, Albano Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Arquitect's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canallas the free kick. In the 87th minute, Albano Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Canallas's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Tibalt came free, but Lino Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Arquitect's Albano Tibalt got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Lino Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Tibalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded The Arquitect left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Canallas.
