Benji Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Libertas Capitur F.C.'s Venancio Cristos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benji Price made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Estefan got free with Alonzo Louis in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Baldomiro Estefan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Libertas Capitur F.C.'s Alonzo Louis did a great save. Alonzo Louis came out of the goal and Epifanio Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Libertas Capitur F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
