The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florencio Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Louis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Checa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonzo Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Yaretayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eulalio Eudoxio in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eulalio Eudoxio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alonzo Louis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aureliano Opilano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Louis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Alonzo Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Florencio Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Louis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 23 played minutes Libertas Capitur F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Madeo. Amado Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Opilano couldn't finish the play. In the 35th match minute, Yaretayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Olo to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Yaretayo got a corner. Libertas Capitur F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Tallia thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alonzo Louis, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Florencio Checa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alonzo Louis. Libertas Capitur F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Checa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aureliano Opilano charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Opilano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yaretayo's Aureliano Opilano got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Llorian to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Libertas Capitur F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florencio Checa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alonzo Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Checa in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yaretayo's Florencio Checa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonzo Louis. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. Yaretayo's Godfredo Breogan was substituted for Arnaldo Abaurre. 66 minutes into the game, Venancio Cristos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Michel Duset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Florencio Checa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alonzo Louis, 1-5. Aureliano Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Cristos in the 82nd minute of play forced Yaretayo's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaretayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor Tallia was slow to take the kick. During this time Libertas Capitur F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nestor Tallia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yaretayo's Michel Duset did a great save. Eulalio Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Ruben Llorian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Michel Duset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yaretayo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
