The throw-in from Abelardo Galtero in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Boca Juniors's 余适德. Apolo Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Aguirre went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Braulio Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Batista having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ismael Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Batista was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Leo Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Chico in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ismael Aguirre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apolo Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Braulio Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Batista was a little too slow when Dionisio Manny got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. Leo Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Ismael Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Aguirre made a kick off. The supporters of C.A Boca Juniors booed when Mono Naranja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Aguirre came free, but Apolo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 64 minutes on the clock, Giorgos Zotalidis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 65th minute, Mono Naranja got a penalty, and Elvio Laurgain placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Luken in the 69th minute of play. C.A Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Braulio Luken in the 70th minute. Leo Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alparslan İnegöllü, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Braulio Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Luken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The C.A Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when C.A Boca Juniors's Ismael Aguirre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 77 minutes of play, C.A Boca Juniors's Braulio Luken made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Braulio Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Chico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Leo Maxin made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Tadeo Pierres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Maxin. Tadeo Pierres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Apolo Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A Boca Juniors's Ismael Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
