Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulino Perrando made the kick off which started today's match. Apolo Batista came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Montes. But to his dismay, Lisandro Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulino Perrando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 8th minute Lisandro Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Montes in the 13th minute of play forced Mono Naranja's goalkeeper Apolo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Emilio Ofelio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Daniel Sundgren shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista to catch but Daniel Sundgren was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 24 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Montes came free, but Apolo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mono Naranja were furious when Leopoldo Naelio was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 25 minutes into the game, one of Mono Naranja:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 31 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 37thth minute of the game Lisandro Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Mono Naranja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Montes struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Apolo Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB. Conrado Isaio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Daniel Sundgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Mono Naranja defense, Lisandro Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Batista. The Mono Naranja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Batista should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Montes to make the kick off. Lucio Ceandro charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Ceandro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Mono Naranja got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ceandro. Conrado Isaio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Daniel Sundgren struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Apolo Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Montes in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Batista saved Mono Naranja from getting behind. Mono Naranja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Lisandro Montes scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Batista, making the score, 0-7. 77 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Batista, 0-9. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Batista was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mono Naranja from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Mono Naranja got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ceandro. 90 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Lisandro Montes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Apolo Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB. The Mono Naranja fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
