Gamon Hoole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ysberin Gunning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moesen Armstrong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edern Gay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, Swansea FC's Edern Gay made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daned Garner was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gamon Hoole got free with Ysberin Gunning in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Menw Elsworth fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penarth FC's protests and gave Menw Elsworth a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Penarth FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin Davis. Swansea FC's Angawdd Harris couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Penarth FC. Penarth FC's Daned Garner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moesen Armstrong in the 39th minute of play. Edern Gay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daned Garner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edern Gay went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Moesen Armstrong in the 55th minute of play forced Penarth FC's goalkeeper Daned Garner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edern Gay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Daned Garner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daned Garner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moesen Armstrong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. Daned Garner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moesen Armstrong, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Gerwin Davis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daned Garner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moesen Armstrong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Penarth FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edern Gay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kenn Bilton hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ysberin Gunning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gamon Hoole, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Edern Gay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daned Garner having to interfere. Daned Garner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moesen Armstrong in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Swansea FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
