Gethin King started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Huw Colporteur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Addolgar Factor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Prestatyn's Govan Inger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Prestatyn from getting a goal against them. Gethin King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gamon Hoole fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penarth FC's protests and gave Gamon Hoole a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Penarth FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gamon Hoole hit a great ball. Bran Culpepper kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Huw Colporteur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daned Garner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Penarth FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gamon Hoole hit a great ball. Huw Colporteur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Penarth FC's Beven Aykroyd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Govan Inger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Prestatyn's zone, Gamon Hoole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Govan Inger came out of the goal and Gamon Hoole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Anynnawg Longshoreman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Prestatyn and the Penarth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Andras Arnold sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Prestatyn's Govan Inger didn't even have to move. Beven Aykroyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Prestatyn's goalkeeper Govan Inger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Addolgar Factor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Addolgar Factor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daned Garner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gethin King in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Gethin King took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Daned Garner to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Penarth FC's Daned Garner got control of the ball when Huw Colporteur tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bran Culpepper fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penarth FC's protests and gave Bran Culpepper a yellow card for diving instead. Bran Culpepper kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Huw Colporteur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daned Garner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Penarth FC's Gamon Hoole got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Gethin King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daned Garner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Penarth FC got a freekick which was hit by Bran Culpepper. 75 minutes into the match, Penarth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gethin King came free, but Daned Garner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Penarth FC's Daned Garner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gethin King in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenn Bilton during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gethin King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudwin Blackadder hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Addolgar Factor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Govan Inger having to interfere. Govan Inger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Addolgar Factor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UWA Prestatyn eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
