Pembroke Gillmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boland Dalton having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Ummera got a freekick which was hit by Beccan Cassin. After 10 minutes of play, Cloonlavis's Pembroke Gillmour made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boland Dalton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ummera's Boland Dalton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breaghdha McWilliam in the 13th minute of play. Breaghdha McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Corey Silke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonlavis and the Ummera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boland Dalton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breaghdha McWilliam in the 30th minute of the match. Pembroke Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shamus McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Beccan Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ummera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beccan Cassin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Ummera's goalkeeper Boland Dalton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pembroke Gillmour. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Beccan Cassin scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dermot Benson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ummera's Shamus McWilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cloonlavis getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Trevor McVictor hit a great ball. Boland Dalton came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloonlavis's Breaghdha McWilliam. But to his dismay, Breaghdha McWilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Breaghdha McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Breaghdha McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boland Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boland Dalton came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloonlavis's Pembroke Gillmour. But to his dismay, Pembroke Gillmour quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 79th minute Breaghdha McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boland Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shamus McWilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shamus McWilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cloonlavis booed when Ummera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shamus McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shamus McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breaghdha McWilliam in the 90th minute of play forced Ummera's goalkeeper Boland Dalton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cloonlavis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
