Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Legionnaires's Arın Soner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Topham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Wilson in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Legionnaires's Nusrettin Sehrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Lomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nusrettin Sehruds short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Peter Lomas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bryan Chivers scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Topham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Dragoş Iriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Wilson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Topham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Chivers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arın Soner might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Lomas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arın Soner ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute of the match Dragoş Iriza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Lomas skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryan Chivers made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Legionnaires's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Chivers came free, but Robert Topham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Topham made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Wilson in the 58th minute. Peter Lomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Soner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legionnaires's Robert Topham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Auty in the 75th minute of play. Robert Topham made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when William Wilson sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st match minute, YamaMoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Henry to maneuver through the defense. YamaMoto's Rich Crossley suffered a fractured collar bone after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arın Soner during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arın Soner kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Arın Soner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Lomas having to interfere. William Wilson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Robert Topham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The YamaMoto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing YamaMoto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
