Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Wilkes got the match started through his kick off. Lennie Charlton took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Haugue. Trevor Haugue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Lennie Charlton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelski FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennie Charlton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trevor Haugue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Barnfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Trevor Haugue made a huge save. After 10 played minutes Chorley City got a freekick which was hit by Karl Barker. If Lennie Charlton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chelski FC booed when Chorley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Wilkes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Charlton in the 17th minute of play forced Chorley City's goalkeeper Trevor Haugue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan McNiven having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Chorley City's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Charlton came free, but Trevor Haugue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Chorley City's goalkeeper Trevor Haugue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Barnfield. Benjamin Barnfield's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Trevor Haugue skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lennie Charlton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trevor Haugue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Chorley City's Trevor Haugue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennie Charlton in the 31st minute of play. Frank Wilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Duncan McNiven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Chelski FC's Lennie Charlton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Will Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Haugue having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Chorley City's goalkeeper Trevor Haugue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Barnfield. The crowd rose to their feet as Lennie Charlton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trevor Haugue. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennie Charlton to strike the kick off in the second half. Chelski FC's Lennie Charlton got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennie Charlton in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevor Haugue saved Chorley City from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Will Adamson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Haugue. Chorley City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Will Adamson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Benjamin Barnfield elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Trevor Haugue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennie Charlton in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Chelski FC's Lennie Charlton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trevor Haugue narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Barnfield struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Trevor Haugue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelski FC. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Barnfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trevor Haugue was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Lennie Charlton notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Chorley City's Trevor Haugue. Trevor Haugue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chorley City's Trevor Haugue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennie Charlton in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Barnfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelski FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Benjamin Barnfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Trevor Haugue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Lennie Charlton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lennie Charlton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Barnfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Haugue having to interfere. Benjamin Barnfield's late challenge caught a Chorley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Barnfield helped the player get up and apologised. Lennie Charlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Lennie Charlton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Haugue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chelski FC had played much better football throughout.
