In the 60th minute, Lennie Charlton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Enfield FC defense, Benjamin Barnfield kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Slator. The Enfield FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Slator should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Enfield FC's Johnny Browning got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lennie Charlton might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Slator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
