When Johannes Moberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Vodafone FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Moberg couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Christoffer Karlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörlunda BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vodafone FC the free kick. Christoffer Karlberg hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Mörlunda BK's Georg Sefastsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Georg Sefastsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mörlunda BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Georg Sefastsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mörlunda BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Magne Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Johannes Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Hedling in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Michael Hedin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Askestät having to interfere. Elias Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Per Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Askestät made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Moberg in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 minutes, Henric Käcker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mörlunda BK and the Vodafone FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Moberg in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Askestät prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Askestät having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Moberg made a kick off. Johannes Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mörlunda BK's Per Askestät played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Moberg in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Mörlunda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mörlunda BK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Stig Lidberg hit a great ball. Tomas Hedling was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Johannes Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mörlunda BK's zone, Elias Häll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Askestät came out of the goal and Elias Häll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes of play, Vodafone FC's Johannes Moberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Askestät was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Elias Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Vodafone FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
