Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) After a rather tough play, Malmö Torpedos's Henrik Månsson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Håkan Kullgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lindell, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Malmö Torpedos's Håkan Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Springfält in the 13th minute of play. Robert Springfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Kullgren having to interfere. Håkan Kullgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Springfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Minnesberg IF's Tobias Lindell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Kullgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Håkan Kullgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Karl Wästerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ove Arhenius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Minnesberg IF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Lund. Karl Wästerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Arhenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Wästerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö Torpedos's zone, Tobias Lindell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Kullgren came out of the goal and Tobias Lindell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Karl Wästerberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ove Arhenius, passed just outside the right post. After the first half Minnesberg IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Robert Springfält made the kick off in the second half. If Tobias Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Håkan Kullgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Malmö Torpedos booed when Minnesberg IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Kullgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Lindell in the 62nd minute. Malmö Torpedos's Karl Wästerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Wästerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ove Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö Torpedos. If Sven-Ove Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Deckbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Malmö Torpedos's Håkan Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Springfält in the 77th minute of play. When Malmö Torpedos's Karl Wästerberg in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
