Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Minnesberg IF's Robert Springfält started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthias Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Ove Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Springfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Sven-Ove Lund hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Matthias Ambjörnsson took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Arhenius. Ove Arhenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jack Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Springfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Ambjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Arhenius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Bergfelt in the 18th minute of play forced Minnesberg IF's goalkeeper Ove Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Matthias Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B-Laget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Ambjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Ambjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Arhenius having to make a save. Matthias Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to B-Laget getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Villiam Henriksson hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Robert Springfält reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jack Blom. The goal made the score 1-1. Matthias Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Ambjörnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Minnesberg IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ingvar Ånger hit a great ball. Matthias Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ove Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthias Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ove Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Matthias Ambjörnsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of B-Laget booed when Minnesberg IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ove Arhenius managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when B-Laget's Matthias Ambjörnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jack Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Matthias Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes B-Laget got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Ambjörnsson. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the B-Laget players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
