Hugo Stephansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Pontus Björnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hugo Stephansson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. GG-ARMY's Pontus Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Boberg in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoffer Boberg in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Björnberg saved GG-ARMY from getting behind. Kasper Sundström's late challenge caught a Lilywhites FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasper Sundström helped the player get up and apologised. Pontus Björnberg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Michel Åman sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Stephansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Pontus Björnberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Åström in the 38th minute of play forced Lilywhites FC's goalkeeper Henry Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, GG-ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Arenius to maneuver through the defense. Michel Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Björnberg having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Bertil Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
