FC Porto's Boruc Serwacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Askestät in the 12th minute of play. Edgar Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Bengtsson having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Tåstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Olofsson came free, but Knut Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knut Bengtsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Olofsson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. FC Porto's Boruc Serwacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Porto from getting a goal against them. Tåstorp FK's Patrick Arenberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Quintanilha in the 24 minute of the game. In the 24th minute Patrick Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Blomqvist in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Rickard Johnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boruc Serwacki. The goal made the score 2-1. When Ingvar Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Tåstorp FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Tillman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Blomqvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Tåstorp FK's goalkeeper Knut Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tåstorp FK's Knut Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Lövkvist in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes FC Porto got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Vennerlund. Kåre Kjellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Tåstorp FK were furious when Kåre Ståhlman was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Knut Bengtsson was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Henrik Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Kjellbom in the 68th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Tåstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Tillman. In the 77th minute Rickard Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boruc Serwacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Johnsson in the 78th minute of play. Boruc Serwacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Granström, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Tåstorp FK's Knut Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tåstorp FK from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Tillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Johnsson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boruc Serwacki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Blomqvist got free with Knut Bengtsson in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Knut Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Henrik Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Tåstorp FK's zone, Henrik Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Bengtsson came out of the goal and Henrik Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Rickard Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Tåstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Olofsson came free, but Knut Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Tåstorp FK's Rickard Johnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boruc Serwacki narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
