Boruc Serwacki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Porto's Boruc Serwacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berthold Uskov in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Jakob Vennersten made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Porto's Boruc Serwacki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Strömberg in the 18th minute of play forced FC Porto's goalkeeper Boruc Serwacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Vennersten scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boruc Serwacki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 played minutes FC Loosers got a freekick which was hit by Frank Strömberg. 32 minutes into the match, Valentin Lind had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boruc Serwacki. FC Porto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Lind was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 45th minute of the match FC Loosers got a corner. FC Porto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentin Lind ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Porto's zone, Frank Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boruc Serwacki came out of the goal and Frank Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berthold Uskov to make the kick off. Boruc Serwacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Kämpe in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Frank Strömberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boruc Serwacki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Boruc Serwacki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakob Vennersten went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. FC Porto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Loosers the free kick. In the 68th minute, FC Loosers's Berthold Uskov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boruc Serwacki. Boruc Serwacki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. After 70 minutes, Berthold Uskov made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. FC Porto's Boruc Serwacki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded FC Loosers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Porto.
