Ksawery Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Dziewulski in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Przemyslaw Dziewulski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Stefan Kochowski managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Piast Legnica's Walery Walentowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Aerodynamiczne nocniki's goalkeeper Stefan Kochowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walery Walentowicz. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gilbert Michalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piast Legnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Michalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Kochowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Aerodynamiczne nocniki booed when Piast Legnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Scigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ksawery Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Dziewulski in the 64th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Walery Walentowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Piast Legnica's Walery Walentowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Kochowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ksawery Hodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Czerny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes Piast Legnica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugon Rzeszutek who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Aerodynamiczne nocniki defense, Remigiusz Zawacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Kochowski. The Aerodynamiczne nocniki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Kochowski should have stopped the shot. Stefan Kochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Michalski in the 97th minute of play.
