Ksawery Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durmuş Zor in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Zawacki came free, but Radoslaw Bendyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ksawery Hodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Brzeszczak in the 20th minute of play. If Robert Hodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JKS Czarni 1910 Jasło's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Remigiusz Zawacki scored to the left of an out of position Radoslaw Bendyk, making the score, 2-1. Ksawery Hodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durmuş Zor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Walery Walentowicz fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piast Legnica's protests and gave Walery Walentowicz a yellow card for diving instead. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 47th minute Remigiusz Zawacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Bendyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Michalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Piast Legnica's Remigiusz Zawacki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radoslaw Bendyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Williams couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Piast Legnica getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lech Pysz hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Bryan Williams tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ksawery Hodas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Radoslaw Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Michalski in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piast Legnica's zone, Vince Swenson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Hodas came out of the goal and Vince Swenson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radoslaw Bendyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Michalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piast Legnica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
