The crowd rose to their feet as Witomir Harendarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ksawery Hodas. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Ksawery Hodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Sakowicz in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Deluxe Kamień Pomorski's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Michalski came free, but Marian Wietrzychowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Roch Ratulowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deluxe Kamień Pomorski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piast Legnica the free kick. The audience was convinced that Walery Walentowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Wietrzychowski was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Walery Walentowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Cyprian Sakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Hodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Walery Walentowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Gilbert Michalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Witomir Harendarski made a precise shot to the right of Ksawery Hodas. Piast Legnica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ksawery Hodas made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Witomir Harendarski sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Deluxe Kamień Pomorski:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piast Legnica:s goal. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Piast Legnica. Marian Scigan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marian Wietrzychowski. 2-1. 47 minutes into the game, Gilbert Michalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Marian Wietrzychowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Piast Legnica's Ksawery Hodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Sakowicz in the 56th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deluxe Kamień Pomorski fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Ksawery Hodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Harendarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gilbert Michalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deluxe Kamień Pomorski's Zbyszek Gamza got a free kick in the 68th minute. Deluxe Kamień Pomorski's Marian Wietrzychowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Deluxe Kamień Pomorski from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Deluxe Kamień Pomorski getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Roch Ratulowski hit a great ball. With his leg Marian Wietrzychowski managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Piast Legnica's Walery Walentowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute Witomir Harendarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Hodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilbert Michalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Deluxe Kamień Pomorski's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Michalski came free, but Marian Wietrzychowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Piast Legnica's Marian Wietrzychowski threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilbert Michalski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Piast Legnica were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
