Henrik Hordvik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Guaberto Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Kristian Andvik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alexander Kapstad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrik Hordvik came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexander Kapstad slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 12th minute. Preben Simonsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Henrik Hordvik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Henrik Hordvik managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when RotløsFotball IL's Preben Simonsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the match, Preben Simonsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Hordvik. Kanfjellien's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Preben Simonsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 19th minute, Torgeir Skarstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Preben Simonsen lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Henrik Hordvik. 27 minutes into the match, Preben Simonsen notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Kanfjellien's Henrik Hordvik. Henrik Hordvik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans Sandaker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Henrik Hordvik made a huge save. Henrik Hordvik was a little too slow when Runar Helliesen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 6-1. Runar Helliesen scored 7-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Hordvik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 minutes, Guaberto Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kanfjellien and the RotløsFotball IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Kanfjellien got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Valiente. With an all-out effort, RotløsFotball IL's Henrik Hordvik threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Runar Helliesen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 46 played minutes Kanfjellien got a freekick which was hit by Petter Hervik.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Valiente was the one to do the kick off. 8-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Preben Simonsen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Henrik Hordvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Sandaker in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Hordvik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Helliesen in the 63rd minute of play forced Kanfjellien's goalkeeper Henrik Hordvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Hordvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Runar Helliesen in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Kanfjellien's goal looked a bit too open when Preben Simonsen came free, but Henrik Hordvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Runar Helliesen succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 10-1. Runar Helliesen scored 11-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Hordvik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrik Hordvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Sandaker in the 75th minute of the match. Henrik Hordvik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Sandaker went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, RotløsFotball IL's Preben Simonsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrik Hordvik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kanfjellien's Henrik Hordvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Helliesen in the 82nd minute of play. If Preben Simonsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Kanfjellien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgeir Skarstad to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match RotløsFotball IL got a corner. Kanfjellien's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Preben Simonsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led RotløsFotball IL's Alexander Kapstad to a score. 13-1 in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vidar Støylen during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the RotløsFotball IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
