Tycho Gervin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Kaspar Nurby fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skovsgaarde's protests and gave Kaspar Nurby a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mågerne booed when Skovsgaarde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspar Nurby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Horsum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Skovsgaarde's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Hvejsel came free, but Tycho Gervin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skovsgaarde booed when Mågerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Horsum didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Mågerne were the better team. Mågerne's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
