Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Julius Lamowski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Vielank got a freekick which was hit by Arnulf Winter. With an all-out effort, Vielank's Olivér Kán threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julius Lamowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 14 played minutes FC Selb got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Ponce. The supporters of FC Selb booed when Vielank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Krinke didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Romeo Bărbat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky. Bernd Dambowsky was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Narciso Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Dambowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Romeo Bărbat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernd Dambowsky. Vielank's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Bărbat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Olivér Kán was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julius Lamowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Ponce in the 42nd minute of play forced Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulf Winter charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulf Winter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vielank's Arnulf Winter got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of Vielank booed when FC Selb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Narciso Ponce made the kick off in the second half. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Predrag Hagemann in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Vielank's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Bărbat came free, but Bernd Dambowsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vielank getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Thoralf Berens hit a great ball. Cecil Mücke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bernd Dambowsky made a huge save. In the 63rdth minute of the game Marko Krinke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Selb's Olivér Kán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, FC Selb's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Lamowski came free, but Olivér Kán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Selb's Olivér Kán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemens Klause in the 66th minute of play. After 70 played minutes FC Selb got a freekick which was hit by Predrag Hagemann. When Narciso Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Selb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Ponce couldn't finish the play. Bernd Dambowsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Predrag Hagemann in the 77th minute. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vielank from getting a goal against them. Predrag Hagemann kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Lamowski in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Selb's goalkeeper Olivér Kán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernd Dambowsky came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Selb's Narciso Ponce. But to his dismay, Narciso Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 90th minute, Predrag Hagemann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernd Dambowsky. The goal made the score 1-4. Olivér Kán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Lamowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The FC Selb supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Selb would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
