Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlato Ibrahimović in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Kehl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Kehl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zlato Ibrahimović showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of Besitz booed when FC Selb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlato Ibrahimović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zlato Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Leon Kehl made a huge save. After 43 played minutes Besitz got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Ayrer. 44 minutes into the match, FC Selb's Harald Brachvogel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Kehl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
