Anthony Uijtterhoven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pino Hensmans was the one to do the kick off. If Pino Hensmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, AC Ulikovskii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daevy Huijgens to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Politehnica Iasi's Pino Hensmans made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Uijtterhoven was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, AC Ulikovskii's goalkeeper Anthony Uijtterhoven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pino Hensmans. Anthony Uijtterhoven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pino Hensmans in the 71st minute. Pino Hensmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Anthony Uijtterhoven made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pino Hensmans in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Uijtterhoven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pino Hensmans hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Renaut De Tapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderik Valckeners having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Politehnica Iasi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
