Jannes Van Aerschot's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefan Vanderhaege firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Crazy Diamonds getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sven De Moor hit a great ball. If Tran Valckenaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Royal Entente Durbuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jannes Van Aerschot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jannes Van Aerschot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jannes Van Aerschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Leemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Vanderhaege. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Leemans ran back to his position shaking his head.
