Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) S52 Wonder Team's Hans Bourgignon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roger De Worteler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Spoelberghe in the 3rd minute of the match. When Harold Spoelberghe came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the ROCKSTARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Spoelberghe couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, S52 Wonder Team's Yoachim Van Laer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacque Wiggers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Harold Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger De Worteler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roger De Worteler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold Spoelberghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emmanuel Rutgeerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger De Worteler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. If Harold Spoelberghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niki Swiggers hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. S52 Wonder Team's Hans Bourgignon got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Hans Bourgignon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacque Wiggers, 1-0. Yoachim Van Laer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Roger De Worteler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Spoelberghe in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ROCKSTARS's Niki Swiggers got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Van de cauter in the 42nd minute of play forced ROCKSTARS's goalkeeper Jacque Wiggers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in S52 Wonder Team's zone, Harold Spoelberghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger De Worteler came out of the goal and Harold Spoelberghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harold Spoelberghe to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of S52 Wonder Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ROCKSTARS:s goal. In the 58th minute Harold Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger De Worteler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harold Spoelberghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Yoachim Van Laer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S52 Wonder Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROCKSTARS the free kick. In the 71st minute, Yoachim Van Laer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in S52 Wonder Team's zone, Emmanuel Rutgeerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger De Worteler came out of the goal and Emmanuel Rutgeerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Harold Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger De Worteler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harold Spoelberghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Spoelberghe in the 84th minute of play forced S52 Wonder Team's goalkeeper Roger De Worteler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Bourgignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacque Wiggers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guust Verheijd went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Roger De Worteler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Spoelberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S52 Wonder Team had won after a very even match.
